The general use of combustible decorations and restrictions on wearing apparel shall be in accordance with Sections 57.801.2.1 through 57.801.2.2.2.
No person shall install, maintain, or use for the purpose of decoration any drape, hanging curtain, drop, vegetation, bunting, cotton batting, plastic cloth, textile, excelsior, paper, or other combustible material that would tend to increase the fire and panic hazard in any building or premises to which the public is admitted or invited. Decorative materials shall be noncombustible, flame-retardant, or shall be treated and maintained in a flame-retardant condition by means of a flame-retardant process approved by the State Fire Marshal in accordance with Title 19, C.C.R.
The sale of combustible decorations and wearing apparel shall be in accordance with Sections 57.801.2.2.1 and 57.801.2.2.2.
No person shall sell or offer for sale any bunting, crepe paper, paper lanterns, paper light shades, plastic cloth, or other combustible decorative materials or objects intended to be used for decorative purposes which may occasion or constitute a fire hazard, unless such materials have been rendered flame-retardant and are so maintained in accordance with the provisions of Title 19, C.C.R.
No person shall sell, rent, lease, or give away any wearing apparel that is composed of vegetation, bunting, cotton batting, plastic cloth, excelsior, paper, or other combustible material which constitutes a fire hazard.
