SEC. 57.3101. GENERAL.
 
   Chapter 31 of the California Fire Code (CFC) is hereby adopted by reference with the following exceptions, modifications, and additions.
 
 
SEC. 57.3102. DEFINITIONS.
 
   Section 3102 of the CFC is hereby adopted in its entirety.
 
 
SEC. 57.3103. TEMPORARY TENTS AND MEMBRANE STRUCTURES.
 
   Section 3103 of the CFC is hereby adopted in its entirety.
 
 
SEC. 57.3104. TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT TENTS AND MEMBRANE STRUCTURES.
 
   Section 3104 of the CFC is hereby adopted in its entirety with the following exceptions, modifications, and additions.
 
 
SEC. 57.3104.11.1. RESPONSIBILITY OF OWNER OR MANAGER.
 
   The owner or manager of any tent or membrane structure shall be responsible for limiting the occupant load in that tent or membrane structure in accordance with Section 57.3104.14.
 
 
SEC. 57.3104.17.3. FIRE SAFETY OFFICER.
 
   A Fire Safety Officer shall be provided in accordance with Section 57.104.18 and the following conditions:
 
   1.   Occupant loads of 500 or more shall require a minimum of one Fire Safety Officer.
 
   2.   Each additional 1,000 occupants, or fraction thereof, shall require one additional Fire Safety Officer.
 
   3.   Filming inside tents requires Fire Safety Officers.
 
   EXCEPTION: The Chief may modify or approve an alternate method of compliance with this section if minimum life safety requirements are met.
