ORDINANCE DISPOSITION TABLE FOR THIS CODE OF ORDINANCES
   The following disposition table consists of a chronological or numerical enumeration of all ordinances passed of record in the City of Danville, Kentucky after the 1977 Codification. In addition to the ordinance number and date of passage, a brief description of the topic matter contained in the ordinance, along with the current status of the ordinance in this Code is given.
   The table is not intended nor shall it be construed to be a part of the Code or to have any legal effect. In the event of error, mistake, or conflict with the code as to any information contained in the following table, the Code shall prevail. This table is intended merely for the convenience of the user and to provide a quick reference or comparison between the old ordinances and the new codification.
   The following symbols used under the heading of “Current Status” shall have the following meaning:
   E = effective
   R = repealed
   S = superseded
The numerical numbers immediately following some of the above symbols are references to ordinance numbers. For example, Ordinance Number 1270 was repealed by Ordinance Number 1316. The user will immediately note the table does not provide information as to the specific ordinance which either superseded or repealed a specific ordinance in the majority of the cases. This is for the obvious reason that many ordinances are repealed or superseded by implication or by virtue of a conflict with a later enacted ordinance. In such event, it is difficult, if not impossible, to ascertain precisely in every event the specific affected or affecting ordinance.
   The heading “Section this Code” indicates whether or not the ordinance, or any part thereof, is contained in this Code. If the ordinance is not contained within the Code, the symbol “NI”, meaning “not included” is entered in the appropriate column. If the ordinance is contained in the Code, the section number or numbers in which the ordinance is contained is entered in the appropriate column.
