§ 9-3. Discharging guns, slings or similar weapons.
   Except for agricultural or sporting purposes in AR-1 zoning districts, it shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any gun, sling or similar contrivance or air gun or firearm within the corporate limits of the city, except for a law enforcement officer in the performance of duty or any person in defense of person or property.
