(a) No person shall cause or permit silt or mud from any source to be emitted to or deposited on any street or public way, storm sewer system, or any silt control device or mechanism in such amounts as to create a hazard for pedestrian or vehicular traffic, or in any such way as to create a general nuisance.
(b) Any violation of this section shall constitute a violation within the meaning of KRS 83A.065 and it shall be punishable by a fine as provided for therein. Each day that a violation of this section occurs shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
