§ 2-5. Emergency powers to be exercised by city manager.
   The city manager is specifically designated and authorized to declare a catastrophe or state of emergency as the mayor’s designee under KRS 39A.100, and is thereafter designated to exercise any emergency powers authorized by KRS 39A.100, KRS 39B.070 and any other applicable statute under state law.
