This division shall be known as the "City of Danville Sewer Use Ordinance" and is enacted for the purposes of regulating the disposal of wastes and the use of the city's sewer system, of adopting industrial pretreatment and reporting standards and of effecting compliance therewith, of helping to insure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and of promoting the health and general welfare of all citizens. This division shall be applicable within the entire city limits of the city, and to all persons and places served by the city sewer system. Penalties for violation of the provisions of this division are set forth in section 1-12.
