§ 9-20 TRANSPORTATION; SLAUGHTERING HOUSE.
   Nothing provided herein shall prevent the transportation of fowl within the City of Flint, nor the keeping of such fowl by licensed poultry slaughtering houses.

§ 9-21 STORAGE AWAITING SALE OR SLAUGHTER.
   No person or persons shall offer for sale or hold for slaughter, at the City Market or at any stand, shop or store any fowl without providing suitable racks, crates or cages in which the fowl may stand while awaiting sale or slaughter.

§ 9-22 PIGEONS.
   For the purpose of this ordinance, pigeons shall be deemed to be domestic fowl, except, that the provisions of §§ 9-16 and 9-17 as to distance shall not apply to pigeons.

ARTICLE IV. NONHUMAN PRIMATES
§ 9-23 KEEPING FOR SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL OR EXHIBITION.
   Nonhuman primates may be kept in the City of Flint solely for scientific, educational or bona fide exhibition purposes.

§ 9-24 KEEPING FOR OTHER PURPOSES PROHIBITED.
   Nonhuman primates may not be kept in the City of Flint as pets or for any purpose other than those described in § 9-23 above. These animals are regulated because they have been determined by the National Center for Disease Control to be a significant source of infectious disease in humans, including hepatitis, tuberculosis and parasitic infections.

§ 9-25 “NONHUMAN PRIMATES” DEFINED.
   NONHUMAN PRIMATES. Include, but are not limited to, animals commonly known as monkeys, chimpanzees, orangutans, gorillas, gibbons, apes, baboons, marmosets, tamarinds, lemurs, lorises and galagos.
