§ 9-24  KEEPING FOR OTHER PURPOSES PROHIBITED.
Nonhuman primates may not be kept in the City of Flint as pets or for any purpose other than those described in § 9-23 above.  These animals are regulated because they have been determined by the National Center for Disease Control to be a significant source of infectious disease in humans, including hepatitis, tuberculosis and parasitic infections.
