8-11-1: FLORIST; DEFINITION:
"Florist" shall mean any person engaged in the business of selling, at wholesale or retail, flowers, shrubs, trees, ornamental plants, bridal bouquets, funeral floral designs or growing plants.
8-11-2: SANITARY AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
No licensee hereunder shall permit any dead or dying vegetation to remain on or upon the premises so as to cause noxious or disagreeable odors.
8-11-3: SALE OF CHRISTMAS TREES; DEPOSIT:
   A.   No person other than a florist shall engage in the business of selling Christmas trees without first having obtained a license therefor.
   B.   The application for a license shall be accompanied by a deposit of one hundred dollars ($100.00). The licensee shall notify the Village Clerk within forty eight (48) hours after December 25 of each year that the sale of trees has terminated. The fire inspector shall thereupon inspect the premises; and if he finds that all debris has been removed, the one hundred dollar ($100.00) deposit shall be returned to the licensee. If the debris remains on the premises, the Village Clerk shall cause same to be removed and pay the cost of removal out of the one hundred dollar ($100.00) deposit. The balance of the deposit, if any, shall be returned to the licensee.

8-12-1: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this Article the following terms and words shall have the following meanings, and are hereby defined as follows:
ATTENDANT PARKING or STORAGE PARKING: "Attendant parking" or "storage parking" shall be interpreted to mean the storing or parking of cars or motor vehicles on a parking lot, abutting each other so as to restrict the mobility of the cars and the access to the cars, which shall include but not be limited to used car parking lots and parking lots operated with attendant car parking.
PARKING GARAGE: "Parking Garage" is a building or structure used for the storing or parking of more than four (4) motor-driven vehicles; "storing and parking" shall include, but not be limited to, the storing, parking or display of motor-driven vehicles for sale, exchange or repair. Such definition, however, shall not apply to a facility operated by a public entity for the use of the general public.
PARKING LOT: "Parking lot" is any parcel of land used for storing or parking of vehicles having a capacity for more than four (4) automobiles; excluding however, places where vehicles are stored or parked within a building.
SELF PARKING: "Self parking" shall be construed to mean the storing or parking of a car or motor vehicle on a parking lot in a marked stall by the operator of the vehicle, permitting access to the car and unrestricted exit of the car, and shall be classified as to the following types:
   A.   "Short term parking" is usage of parking lots for less than three (3) hours by a particular vehicle.
   B.   "Long term parking" is usage of the parking lot for more than three (3) hours by a particular vehicle.
8-12-2: GARAGE LICENSE APPLICATION; INFORMATION TO BE GIVEN:
Application for a parking lot license shall be made by the person intending to operate a garage, upon a form furnished by the Village Clerk, setting forth in addition to that required by Article 1 of this Chapter, the following:
   A.   The number of motor-driven vehicles which may at any one time be stored upon the premises.
   B.   Whether or not the premises are to be used for the sale,
exchange or repair of motor-driven vehicles.
8-12-3: INSPECTIONS:
All garages, as defined in this Article, shall be inspected by the Chief of the Fire Department periodically to determine if the provisions of all applicable ordinances are being complied with.
