§ 5-33 STORAGE OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS.
   Storage of gasoline, kerosene, ethyl and other flammable liquids, including those used in doping and finishing, shall be in compliance with regulations of the American Insurance Association and the National Fire Protection Association, copies of which are on file with the City Clerk. Empty containers originally used for these flammable liquids shall be removed without delay and not put to other use.

§ 5-34 CLEANING OIL AND RUBBISH FROM MAINTENANCE HANGAR FLOORS.
   Floors of all aircraft maintenance hangars shall be kept clean at all times from oil and rubbish. No volatile, flammable substances shall be used for cleaning any floor at the airport.

§ 5-35 CLEANING OF ENGINE OR AIRCRAFT PARTS.
   Cleaning of engine or aircraft parts shall be done if possible with nonflammable substances. Where it is necessary to employ flammable substances such cleaning shall be conducted in the open air with fire watch assigned.

§ 5-36 USE OF OPEN FLAMES OR HIGH HEAT IN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.
   Aircraft maintenance in hangars shall be limited to inspections, replacement of parts and repairs not involving open flames or high heat except that electric soldering irons may be used; provided, however, such limitation shall not apply where all other aircraft and all flammable materials and substances have been removed from the hangar and a fire watch is assigned.

ARTICLE IV. AIRCRAFT FUELING AND DEFUELING
§ 5-37 SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED SERVICES; INDEMNIFICATION AND INSURANCE; REQUIRED FACILITIES.
   Airport tenants authorized to dispense aviation fuel to the general public shall comply with the following requirements before commencing operations:
   (a)   Submit to the Director of Aeronautics a schedule of proposed aviation fuel services specifying hours and types of services, types of fuel offered, lubricants, associated products, fees and charges, including retail prices for all grades of aviation fuel to be sold. His approval shall be obtained prior to putting such schedule into effect.
   (b)   Execute an indemnification agreement holding the City harmless against liability arising from the fuel dispensing operations, if not already included in the tenant’s lease with the City.
   (c)   Furnish the Director of Aeronautics proof of adequate liability insurance coverage protecting the City, in companies and forms satisfactory to the Chief Legal Officer.
   (d)   Provide fuel storage and dispensing facilities which meet all safety standards of appropriate local, State and Federal authorities, and which have been approved by the Director of Aeronautics prior to their installation.
