   22-1.1   Repealer

   22-2   Penalty — designation as municipal civil infraction

§ 22-1 AGENCY DESIGNATED TO ENFORCE STATE MECHANICAL CODE.

   Pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Mechanical Code, in accordance with Act 230 of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, the Building Official of the City of Flint is hereby designated as the enforcing agency to discharge the responsibilities of the City of Flint under Act 230 of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended. The City of Flint, through its Department of Public Works and Utilities, Building Inspections Division, by adoption of this ordinance assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the State of Michigan Mechanical Code in the City of Flint.

§ 22-1.1 REPEALER.

   All ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

§ 22-2 PENALTY — DESIGNATION AS MUNICIPAL CIVIL INFRACTION.

   Any person, association or corporation found in violation of § 22-1 shall be found responsible of a municipal civil infraction pursuant to §§ 1-10 through 1-21.
