1. This title has been re-enacted as a set of land use regulations by Ordinance 20-10, passed 5-13-2020.
5-1-1: ESTABLISHED:
Pursuant to the provisions of Utah Code Annotated section 10-7-3, a Board of Health for the city is established. (2001 Code § 50-2-201; amd. Ord. 22-09, 4-27-2022)
5-1-2: APPOINTMENT:
   A.   Pursuant to the provisions of Utah Code Annotated title 26A, chapter 1, and pursuant to a resolution of the city council approving the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement providing for the appointment of the Salt Lake County Health Department ("Health Department") to be the Board of Health for the city, the Health Department is appointed and designated as the Board of Health of the city, as established in section 5-1-1 of this chapter.
   B.   The appointment effected in subsection A of this section shall not be irrevocable nor shall it be construed to be a relinquishment of the responsibility and authority of the city council to provide for the health and welfare of the residents of the city.
