The purpose of this chapter is to adopt a program that allows for payment or reimbursement of clean-up costs and substantiated property damage resulting exclusively from flooding events and allow for payment or reimbursement of costs for approved remediation efforts on flooded property. In no circumstances shall the City expend over two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00) in support of this program in one fiscal year.
