415.9.1.6 Tank vent.
Storage tank vents for Class I, II or IIIA liquids shall terminate to the outdoor air in accordance with the New York City Fire Code.
415.9.1.7 Room ventilation.
Storage tank areas storing Class I, II or IIIA liquids shall be provided with mechanical ventilation. The mechanical ventilation system shall be in accordance with the New York City Mechanical Code and the New York City Fire Code.
415.9.1.8 Explosion venting.
Where Class I liquids are being stored, explosion venting shall be provided in accordance with the New York City Fire Code.
415.9.1.9 Tank openings other than vents.
Tank openings other than vents from tanks inside buildings shall be designed to ensure that liquids or vapor concentrations are not released inside the building.
415.9.2 Liquefied petroleum gas-distribution facilities.
The construction and installation of liquefied petroleum gas facilities shall be in accordance with the requirements of this code, the New York City Fire Code, the New York City Mechanical Code, the New York City Fuel Gas Code and NFPA 58.
