(a) No person shall make a connection of roof downspouts, storm water sump pumps, exterior foundation drains, areaway drains or other sources of surface run-off or ground water to a building sewer or building drain which in turn is connected directly or indirectly to a public sanitary sewer.
(b) Any person violating division (a) hereof shall be given a first notice to correct the connections to the specifications of Chapters 1030 through 1036 and have such work finished within 60 days. A second notice to correct the connections shall be given if action in response to the first notice was not completed within 60 days. If the connections are not corrected within 30 days after the second notice, a third notice shall be issued and the violator shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable as provided in § 1032.99.
