Judge Robert Wynn administrated the oath of office to the newly elected Council members::

·   Rick Hoyson

·   Jerald March

Roll call of Council: Brabender, Damon, Diehl, Fertig, Hoyson, March

Also present: E. Pengel, Richard Hummel, Patty Hoyson, Brian Ewig

Motion by Councilwoman Brabender to appoint Councilman Hoyson as President Pro-tem for the year 2010

Roll: All yea, motion carried.

Motion by Councilman March to close the nomination for President Pro-tem.

Roll: All yea, motion carried.

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to accept the Rules of Council Amended Ordinance 06-02638 for the year 2010

Roll: All yea, motion carried.

Motion by Councilman Diehl to approve the Mayor’s appoint for the 2010 Village of Jefferson Committees:

·   Building/Lands: Chair Lon Damon - Member Brian Diehl

·   Finance: Chair Brian Diehl - Member Rick Hoyson

·   Forestry: Chair Jerry March - Member Lon Damon

·   Recreation: Chair Kay Ann Brabender - Member Ken Fertig

·   Safety: Chair Rick Hoyson - Member Kay Ann Brabender

·   Utilities/Wastewater/Services: Chair Ken Fertig- Member Jerry March

Motion by Councilman Fertig to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Mayor Maloney to the Ambulance Board, to a 1-year term, expiring 12/31/2010

Motion by Councilman Damon to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Board of Zoning Appeals

Roll: All yea, motion carried.

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to approve the recommendation of Fire Chief, John Wayman, Sr. to appoint Tom Lachey, John Wayman, Jr. and Roger Beckwith to the Fireman Dependency Board for a 1-year term, expiring 12/31/2010

Roll: All yea, motion carried.

Motion by Councilman Damon to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Kay Ann Brabender, Robin Blon and John Broom to the Park Development for a 1-year term, expiring 12/31/10

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to approve Council meeting minutes of December 21, 2009,
