Motion by Councilman Fertig to nominate Councilman Hoyson as President Pro-tem for the year 2011.

Motion by Councilman March to close nominations for President Pro-tem

Motion by Councilman Fertig to appoint Councilman Hoyson as President Pro-tem for the year 2011

Motion by Councilwoman Brabender to accept the Rules of Council Amended Ordinance 06-O-2638 for the year 2011

Motion by Damon to approve the Mayor’s appointment for the 2011 Village of Jefferson Committees:

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Mayor Maloney to the Ambulance Board, to a 1-year term, expiring 12/31/2011

Motion Councilman March to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Dave Holik and Larry Carlson to the Board of Zoning Appeals 5-year terms expiring 12/31/15

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Councilman Brian Diehl to the Planning Commission, term to expire 12/31/13; and Citizen Shawn Osborn, 6-year term expiring 12/31/16

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to approve the recommendation of Fire Chief, John Wayman, Sr. to appoint Tom Lachey, John Wayman, Jr. and Roger Beckwith to the Fireman Dependency Board for a 1-year term, expiring 12/31/11

Motion by Councilman Diehl to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to appoint Kay Ann Brabender, Robin Blon, John Broom to Park Development for a 1-year term, expiring 12/31/11

Motion by Councilwoman Brabender to accept the Mayor’s recommendation to make appointments to the newly organized “Design Review Board” intended to protect historical buildings and areal within the Village, as follows.

·   Chairwoman Pat Bradek- 5 yrs (1/1/11 to 12/31/15)

·   Brian Diehl – 4 yrs. (1/1/11 to 12/31/14)

·   Norma Waters- 3 yrs. (1/1/11 to 12/31/13)

·   Jim Janson – 2 yrs. (1/1/11 to 12/31/12)

·   Frank Snyder – 1 yr. (1/1/11 to 12/31/11)

Motion by Councilman March to approve Council meeting minutes of December 20, 2010

Motion by Councilwoman Brabender to accept the Oakdale Cemetery meeting minutes of November 8; November 22 and November 29, 2010

It was noted that the Cemetery’s audit has been completed.
