Meeting was called to order by Beverly Cowles, Chairman 5:00 p.m.
Present: Beverly Cowles, Chairman, Ed Ward, Committee Member, Mary Stasny, Jerry Lemire, Tim Lemire, Dan Weir, Terry Finger
Topic of Discussion - Lemire Ordinance
J. Lemire - The relevant information that we need to discuss the 3rd page item C on down and special permission requirement for hook on the sewer line.
T. Finger - A permit is required for connection by the administrator on Cucumber Street.
J. Lemire - Cucumber Street sewer requires special provisions for connection. We are allowing for recovery of developer expense. Item C4 quoted.
T. Finger / B. Cowles - Questioned capacity of new and existing sewers and future development.
T. Finger/B. Cowles/ Lemire -- Discussion on Poplar Street vacation .
T. Finger - Would like to word ordinance different.
Discussion followed on wording change.
B. Cowles - How do you want to re-word the ordinance?
J. Lemire - Quoted how it should read: Five residential properties abutting the sewer. Language will further limit use.
T. Finger - Any further development would have to do study for capacity and install accordingly.
J. Lemire - New wording: Property which have frontage on sewer line extension.
T. Finger - Discussion on wording - sounds like no restrictions. This will allow for development of 5 new homes fronting on sewer line.
B. Cowles - C2 and C4 are essence of what we are talking about.
J. Lemire - Provisions for permit and special obligation also subject to 1034.14. A tap in fee is to be charged.
T. Finger - Number 4, questioned Tim Lemires right over the administrator for 20 yrs.
J. Lemire - If you remove the wording "without first obtaining permission from Tim" you are making this ordinance more stringent.
T. Finger - Sewer belongs to Time Lemire until Village accepts the sewer.
T. Lemire - As long as I own the property capacity will not be an issue.
T. Finger - Five houses was your figure if you need more homes 6 or so, than now, is the time to change it.
B. Cowles - Moved to adjourn the meeting @ 6:25 p.m.
