Meeting Called to Order by Mayor Judy Maloney

Pledge of Allegiance

Opening Prayer: Father Wassie, St. Joseph Catholic Church

Roll Call of Council: Brabender, Damon, Fertig, Hoyson, Thompson, Ward

Also present: Pat Bradek, R.A. Hummel

Motion by Councilman Ward to appoint Councilman Thompson as President Pro-Temp for the calendar year 2007.

Roll: All yea, motion carried.

Motion by Councilman Fertig to accept the Rules of Council 220.01 Codified Ordinance of Village of Jefferson for the calendar year 2007.

Proclamation Presentation to Jefferson Rotary Club

Motion by Councilman Ward to accept Mayor Maloney’s appointment for the 2007 Village of Jefferson Committees.

   Utilities/Waste Water Treatment/Services:   Chairman Brabender-Member Fertig

   Building/Lands:            Chairman Ward-Member Damon

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to accept Mayor Maloney’s recommendation to appoint Gary Helfer to a 5-year term for the Board of Zoning Appeal through

12/31/2011.

Motion by Councilman Ward to accept Mayor Maloney’s recommendation to appoint Jon Brabender to a 1-year term for the Fireman’s Dependency Board through 12/31/2007.

Motion by Councilman Brabender to accept Mayor Maloney’s recommendation to appoint Rick Hoyson, Robin Blon and Matt Cole to a 1-year term for the Park Development Committee through 12/31/2007.

Motion by Councilman Brabender to accept Mayor Maloney’s recommendation to appoint Rick Hoyson to the Safety Committee that includes local safety personnel.

Motion by Councilman Hoyson to accept Mayor Maloney’s recommendation to appoint Ed Ward to serve on the Planning Commission during his term in office.
