§ 16-327 TOILET FACILITIES.
   (a)   Toilet facilities, separate for each sex and plainly marked “men” and “women,” shall be provided for outdoors public gatherings at a rate of no more than 100 persons per toilet seat. Such facilities shall be designed to shield the occupants from public view.
   (b)   Portable type toilets, if provided for outdoors public gatherings, shall have waste therefrom collected at intervals of sufficient frequency to preclude overflow and the wastes therefrom shall be disposed of in a manner that does not create a health hazard or nuisance.
§ 16-328 SOLID WASTE FACILITIES.
   At outdoors public gatherings:
   (a)   All solid waste shall be stored in suitable containers with tight-fitting lids and such containers shall be conveniently located throughout the area; and
   (b)   All solid waste shall be collected daily or at more frequent intervals as may be necessary to maintain sanitary conditions at the site and be disposed of in a manner that does not create a health hazard or nuisance.

   Section 1 of Ord. 11209, adopted Nov. 24, 1992, repealed § 16-328 in its entirety. Formerly § 16-328 pertained to vector control. Section 1 of said ordinance also renumbered §§ 16-329 and 16-330 as §§ 16-328 and 16-329.
§ 16-329 FOOD SANITATION.
   Food sanitation requirements for outdoors public gatherings shall be as provided in the regulations adopted by § 16-102 of this chapter.

ARTICLE XIV: MISCELLANEOUS PERMITS

   Section 1 of Ord. 12553, adopted June 18, 1996, repealed Art. XIV in its entirety. Formerly, Art. XIV pertained to permits for certain businesses, occupations and vocations and added a new Art. XIV as herein set out.
§ 16-346 DEFINITIONS.
   Unless a provision explicitly states otherwise, the following terms and phrases, as used in this article, shall have the meanings hereinafter designated.
   CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP. A change of owner or operator of a business, and does not refer to a change of owner of the building where the business is located.
   DIRECTOR. The director of the health department and the director’s authorized representatives.
   EXTENSIVE REMODELING. Any type of construction of facilities and/or replacement of equipment of an establishment which:
      (1)   Results in a final job cost of $10,000 or more;
      (2)   Results in a significant modification of the operation or facilities of the establishment; and
      (3)   Requires a building permit from the department of planning and development of the city.
   HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The Fort Worth health department.
   MOTEL-HOTEL. Any facility in which the public may, for consideration, obtain sleeping accommodations on a day-to-day basis, and shall include hotels, motels, tourist homes, houses or courts, lodging houses, bed and breakfast homes, bed and breakfast inns, rooming houses, dormitories and apartments occupied by transient residents.

§ 16-347 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   No person shall operate any of the following businesses without a valid health permit issued by the health department: motel-hotel.
