   157.03 FORM.
   The form of the bonds shall be approved by the Director of Law.

   157.04 APPROVAL.
   All bonds shall also be approved by the Mayor, as provided by Ohio R.C. 733.70, with the exception of the Mayor’s bond which shall be approved by Council as therein provided.

   157.05 DELIVERY AND RECORD.
   Each bond, except that of the Director of Finance, upon its approval, shall be delivered to the Director of Finance, who shall immediately record it in a record provided for that purpose and file and carefully preserve it in his office. The bond of the Director of Finance shall be delivered to the Director of Law, who shall in like manner record and preserve it.

   157.06 POLICE BONDS.
   Each member of the Division of Police, whether permanent, probationary or special, shall immediately upon his appointment post a bond in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) and such bond shall be approved by the Director of Law and the Mayor.

   157.07 COST OF POLICE BONDS.
   The cost of all police surety bonds required by Section 157.06 shall be borne by the Municipality upon approval by the Mayor.

   157.08 DAY OF REST.
   Every person employed in any occupation of labor shall be entitled to one day of rest therefrom in seven, but this section shall not apply when public necessity or any emergency requires otherwise.

   157.09 HOLIDAYS; FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.
   (a)   All full-time employees of the Municipality, except employees in the Department of Public Service or in the Department of Water Reclamation, elected officials, those employed on a contract basis, or those subject to a collective bargaining agreement shall be entitled to thirteen paid holidays throughout the year in addition to the one day per week set forth in Section 157.08. Such holidays shall be as follows:

Labor Day
Personal Day

Thanksgiving Day
   Full-time employees of the Department of Public Service and the Department of Water Reclamation that are not subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement shall be entitled to thirteen paid holidays throughout the year in addition to the one day per week set forth in Section 157.08. Such holidays shall be as follows:

   Personal Days are to be taken as a floating holiday of the employee’s choice with approval of the employee’s Department or Division Head. Although Columbus Day is not listed as a holiday for the full-time employees of the Department of Public Service and the Department of Water Reclamation and these employees are instead entitled to a second Personal Day, such employees may take Columbus Day as one of their Personal Days with approval from their Department Head.
   Whenever any of the above holidays falls on any officer’s or employee’s regular working day and he or she does actually work on the holiday, he or she may be allowed time off in lieu thereof or may receive extra compensation in lieu thereof at one and one-half times his or her regular rate of pay. Such time off or compensation allowed in lieu of any holiday shall be fixed and determined by the department or division head of the employee or officer entitled to such holiday, who shall make provision for such holidays in accordance with this section and consistent with the proper administration of their respective departments. Department or division heads shall attempt to schedule part-time employees to minimize days off for holidays throughout the year. Personal day holidays may be used by the employee at his or her discretion, provided the appropriate department or division head approves of the use of such day at least one week in advance.
   (b)   Whenever an authorized holiday pursuant to subsection (a) hereof falls on a Saturday, the holiday will be celebrated and employees will take their day off the preceding Friday, and whenever a holiday falls on a Sunday, the holiday shall be celebrated and employees shall take off as their holiday the following Monday.
