157.121 VACATIONS; PERMANENT PART-TIME EMPLOYEES.

   (a)   All permanent part-time employees of this City shall accrue vacation credit for time actually worked as an employee of the City. Such vacation shall accrue at the rate of .0385 times the number of hours actually worked for each year of service and shall be subject to the same conditions as those granted for full-time employees under Section 157.12 herein, except as stated otherwise in this section.

   (b)   Effective November 19, 1996, any permanent part-time employee of this City who becomes a full-time employee of this City shall be entitled to his or her vacation earned as a permanent part-time employee during the first year of employment as a full-time employee of the City. Thereafter, such employee shall be entitled to vacation as indicated under Section 157.12 herein using his or her anniversary date of commencement of full-time employment with the City as indicated in subsection (e) therein.    (c)   Notwithstanding the provisions of subsections (a) and (b) hereof, permanent part- time employees hired after March 31, 2009 shall not be entitled to sick time, vacation time and/or holiday pay. (Ord. 2009-047. Passed 3-17-09.)
