157.42 FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.

   (a)   “Full-time employee” shall be defined for purposes of the Codified Ordinances and the pay ordinance as an employee working in a job classification stated as “full-time” for which at least 40 hours per week are authorized to be scheduled on a permanent basis throughout the year.

   (b)   The provisions of this chapter pertaining to full-time employees shall apply to all full-time employees unless another provision directly relating to their particular job classification appears under Title Five of the Administrative Code or elsewhere in the Codified Ordinances where the job has been created or where such provisions are covered by a contractual agreement between the City and the employees.
