157.22 MILITARY SERVICE DIFFERENTIAL PAY.
   (a)   Any full-time employee of the City who is also a member of the Ohio National Guard and, as such, is required to devote a two-week period of time to full-time training with the Ohio National Guard or with the military reserves of any branch of the U.S. Armed Services, is hereby authorized to receive the difference in pay from his basic straight-time pay from the City and the amount of compensation received from the Ohio National Guard or the military service.
   (b)   The Finance Director is authorized, upon receipt of a payment voucher from the Ohio National Guard or the military service to ascertain and pay to the employee the amount of money which equals the difference between the moneys received for such service and the amount of money he would have received had the employee worked his regular full-time employment with the City at straight-time rates.
   (c)   No employee shall be entitled to receive the compensation authorized herein if he applied for vacation pay during the same period of time represented by the time expended in discharging his military obligations.
