157.29 STUDENT EMPLOYEES.

   (a)   Students who are residents of the City of Bedford Heights may be hired to help in any City Department during the summer and during school vacation periods. Such students shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall be paid at such hourly rate as shall be determined by Council for student labor.

   (b)   Student interns may be non-residents. However, Bedford Heights residents shall still have preference over non-residents in hiring for Student Intern positions.

   (c)   Students shall be considered part-time temporary seasonal employees.
