157.10 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION; FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.
   (a)   Unless otherwise provided, subsections (c) and (c)(1), all full-time employees of the Municipality, both salaried and hourly, but excluding elected officials and those employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement, shall be entitled to longevity compensation for years of continuous service based upon the wage or salary being received by each such employee upon the following basis:

   (b)   Except as otherwise specifically authorized by ordinance, full-time employees who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement shall have no maximum cap, effective January 1, 2001. This adjustment shall be based on an employee's original full-time date of hire or appointment and shall be applied to an employee's first full pay period following his or her anniversary date of full-time employment. No pay other than base pay shall be adjusted for longevity.
   (c)   All full-time non-union employees of the Municipality, both salaried and hourly hired on or after March 21, 2021, but excluding elected officials and those employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement, shall be entitled to longevity compensation for continuous service based upon the wage or salary being received by such employee upon the following basis:
