All appointments to the veterans' affairs committee shall be for a term of four (4) years and shall expire on December 31. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as appointments, for the unexpired term of the vacancy.

Editors Note: Section 1 of Ord. No. 7267, adopted Aug. 7, 1989, increased the term of office in this section from 3 to 4 years. Section 2 specified that these members who were serving 3-year terms prior to the enactment of the ordinance would have their terms extended to 4 years.
