President Pro Tem, Bruce Thompson called the meeting to order

Also present: Mayor Maloney, Pat Bradek, E. Pengel, Gary and Jennifer Godleski, K. C. Baxley, Wilma Herndon, Donna Patterson, John Patterson, Jr., Frank Snyder, Jr., Gazette

The names of the candidates for the vacant council seat were presented: Kathleen C. Baxley, Kay Ann Brabender, Gary L. Godleski, John G. Kish, and John G. Kish.

A secret ballot was taken and counted.:

Kay Ann Brabender: three votes

Kathleen Baxley: one vote

Frank Snyder: one vote

A Village ordinance states that a candidate must have a total of three votes to win the vacated council seat, so Kay Ann Brabender was declared the winner.

Kay Ann Brabender will be notified and sworn in at the January 7, 2008 Council meeting

Motion by Councilman Thompson to adjourn at 7:05 p.m.
