No person or entity shall operate a short-term rental unless that person or entity holds a valid short-term rental permit issued by the Zoning Inspector in the name of the owner of the real property upon which the short-term rental is to be operated. This permit shall be displayed in a conspicuous place within the short-term rental at all times. Each short-term rental permit shall expire at the end of one year following its date of issuance, unless it is suspended or revoked prior to the expiration of the one year pursuant to §§ 1264.08 and/or 1264.09, whichever is applicable.
