Employees Generally
EDITOR'S NOTE: City employees, by and through their recognized bargaining agents, negotiate wages, hours, fringe benefits and other conditions of employment from time to time, which conditions are contained in Agreements with the City. The provisions of this chapter, therefore, are applicable only to those subjects and those persons not otherwise provided for in such Agreements. Copies of the current Agreements are on file in the office of the City Auditor.
      Ordinance 91-134, passed November 5, 1991, adopted a Personnel Policy Manual, Employee Handbook and Travel Regulations as regulatory administrative policies of the City.    Ordinance 95-100, passed June 20, 1995, adopted a Substance Abuse Policy for use in conjunction with the conduct of the Greenville Transit System. Copies of such ordinance and Policy may be obtained, at cost, from the City Auditor.
   Ordinance 97-14, passed February 4, 1997, adopted an Internet Use Policy for City employees. Copies of such ordinance and Policy may be obtained, at cost, from the City Auditor.
