(a) Finishing rooms in which flammable finishes are applied shall be kept free from all unnecessary combustible material and refuse.
(b) Floors of finishing rooms shall be of incombustible material. Floors of finishing rooms, drain boards and the interiors of spray booths, shall be thoroughly cleaned at least once a day, and all fans, ducts, side-walls and ceilings kept as clean as practicable at all times. In cleaning, care shall be taken to use implements which will not create sparks. Wherever practicable, surfaces to be cleaned shall be sprayed or otherwise wetted down with water before cleaning. Sweepings or deposits from spray booths or rooms, ducts or stacks shall be immediately removed from the building and safely disposed.
(c) Metal waste cans with self-closing covers shall be provided for all waste and rags which have come in contact with flammable finishing material.
