ECONOMIC AFFAIRS COMMISSION
The County Economic Affairs Commission shall:
(A) Consist of those agencies and organizations, or their designees listed on the enclosure, which is attached to Resolution 85-57 and made a part of this section;
(B) Meet at the call of and be convened by the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson of the County Board, or other designee of the Chairperson;
(C) Coordinate the exchange of information and effort, related to economic development throughout the county, in both the private and public sectors, in order to minimize, if not eliminate, unnecessarily duplicative and otherwise counterproductive activities;
(D) Recommend policies, for adoption by the County Board and other agencies and organizations, which enhance the economic base of the county, including, but not limited to, those related to the retention, expansion and attraction of business enterprises;
(E) Develop programs and projects to implement economic development policy decisions;
(F) Oversee economic development policies, programs and projects, which have been implemented; and
(G) Serve as the Overall Economic Development Program (OEDP) Committee, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the United States Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA).

(A) Those members of the County Economic Affairs Commission, present for any meeting conducted in accordance with the State Open Meetings Act, shall constitute a quorum.
(B) One person may represent more than one agency or organization.
