INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION
§ 34.055 CREATION.
   (A)   There is established an Industrial Commission consisting of nine members appointed by the Chairperson of the County Board.
   (B)   The purpose of the Commission shall include:
      (1)   Seeking increases in local employment opportunity;
      (2)   Providing research and other assistance to the private market-oriented industrial use;
      (3)   Coordinating and cooperating with both the private market and other governmental agencies in order to stimulate and promote additional well planned industrial development in the county; and
      (4)   Cooperating with other existing groups, such as local chambers of commerce and the Will-Grundy Manufacturers Association in the development of research and promotional activities.

COUNTY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION
§ 34.085 RE-ESTABLISHED.
   (A)   The County Regional Planning Commission is hereby re-established.
   (B)   (1)   The County Regional Planning Commission (RPC) and the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZPA) shall be combined and comprised of the same members, known as the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC), who shall continue their present terms, in accordance with law.
      (2)   For purposes of clarity, the Commission and the Board acting together shall be known as the Planning and Zoning Commission. This redesignation does not affect the current members of the County Planning and Zoning Commission, who shall continue their present terms, in accordance with the law.

§ 34.086 DUTIES.
   The County Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby assigned to perform those duties which are set forth by the Regional Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals, pursuant to I.R.S. Ch. 34 and implemented by county ordinances and resolutions, which have been or may be from time to time adopted and/or amended.
