§ 15-227 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING FEE.
   (a)   A service charge of $20 shall be made for a trip for collection of a bill, and/or for disconnecting or reconnecting a service discontinued for nonpayment of a bill. Such charge shall be paid before service is restored. A service charge of $20 shall be made for restoring service at the same connection for the same customer which shall have been temporarily disconnected at the customer’s or consumer’s request if the disconnection is for a period of less than 90 days, the same to be payable with the next ensuing bill.
   (b)   When continuous service is taken for a 12-month period by the same customer although the service is taken at more than one connection, no additional charge shall be made for connecting or disconnecting such service.
