(a) The following charges shall be made prior to and for connections to the city water distribution system within the corporate limits of the city:
Tap and Meter Size | Charge |
1 inch | $1,300 |
2 inch | $2,600 |
Over 2 inch or other sizes | $500 plus the actual cost of material and labor for the installation thereof |
(b) For one-inch and two-inch services, where the size of the main being tapped, the length of the service line and/or special service requirements add significant cost to the city’s installation, the Building Official will require an additional fee to recoup the added cost of materials and labor.
