The City Building Official/Codes Enforcement Officer shall be required to inspect and test all testable backflow prevention equipment after the initial installation to ensure proper placement, and once every two years thereafter. The Building Official/Codes Enforcement Officer may designate a certified backflow prevention inspector to conduct the inspection and tests. Testing procedures shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
