Except as otherwise provided by Charter, no full-time or part-time officer or employee of the City of Mentor is required to be a resident of the City either at the time of appointment or during the term of employment or such appointment. (Ord. 07-0-33. Passed 3-20-07.)
All positions in the municipal service shall be grouped into classes and each class shall include those positions sufficiently similar in respect to their duties and responsibilities so that similar requirements as to training, experience, knowledge and skills, and the same rules of compensation are applicable thereto.
