Roll Call of Council: Damon (absent), Fertig, Hoyson, Thompson, Ward, Brabender

Motion by Councilman Fertig to accept the Mayor Maloney’s recommendation to appoint Rick Hoyson, Robin Blon and Matt Cole to the Park Development Committee

Corrections or additions to the Agenda: New Business/Old Business: Elected Officials Academy; Barbershop parking lot. Discussion: Fire Truck bid:
Councilman Thompson brought to Council’s attention that the barber shop’s owner, Pat Zapp, came to him with issues over the parking spot in front of the barber shop.
Administrator Finger explained that with the new Auto Zone, the driveway on both sides of the barber shop makes a parking space in front of the barber shop illegal because the space is not wide enough to comply with the zoning code.
Motion by Councilman Thompson to approve the Council Meeting minutes of January 7, 2008

Motion by Councilman Thompson to accept the Oakdale Union Cemetery meeting minutes of December 10 and December 26, 2007.
