The owner of the premises upon which the short-term rental is to be operated shall apply to the Zoning Inspector for such short-term rental permit, which shall be issued by the Zoning Inspector upon compliance by the owner with the applicable provisions of this chapter and any applicable provisions of the Zoning Code following an inspection by the Zoning Inspector wherein the Zoning Inspector has indicated the premises meets the requirements for a short-term rental and after a fire safety inspection has been performed which indicates that the premises meets all applicable fire safety requirements.
