There shall be provided at the time any building is erected or structurally altered off-street loading space in accordance with the following requirements:
(a) Office buildings, apartments, motels and hotels - one space for each 5,000 to 50,000 square feet of gross floor area; two spaces for each 50,000 to 200,000 square feet of gross floor area; and one additional space for each 75,000 square feet of gross floor area above 200,000 square feet;
(b) Retail or service establishments of wholesale commercial use - one space for each 2,000 to 20,000 square feet of gross floor area; two spaces for each 20,000 to 100,000 square feet of gross floor area; and one additional space for each 75,000 square feet of gross floor area above 100,000 square feet; and
(c) Manufacturing or industrial use - one space for each 10,000 square feet of floor area or fraction thereof in excess of 5,000 square feet.
(d) In all cases where the off-street loading space is located in a manner that a truck must back directly from a major street into a loading space, a maneuvering space of not less than 50 feet shall be provided on the lot on which the industrial use is located.
