As used in this chapter:
(a) ARBORICULTURE and TREE PRESERVATION mean and include the treating, spraying, pruning, maintaining and any other care or work intended for the strengthening of trees, and the removal and prevention of tree pests, blights and diseases of any and all kinds.
(b) PUBLIC PLACE means any public street, public highway, public park or any property owned or held by the village within the boundaries of the village.
(c) STREET TREE or TREE means a tree in a public place, except where otherwise indicated.
(d) VILLAGE ARBORIST means the Village Administrator or such other person as may be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council.
