(a) No person shall keep or store in any shop, store, office or other building or room used for the carrying on of any mercantile business, or any business where the general public is invited or permitted to enter, or keep or store in any building or room connected with any such office, shop, store, building or room, any gasoline.
(b) No person shall keep or store in anyplace within 20 feet of any of the buildings, rooms or places mentioned in division (a) hereof, any gasoline.

(c) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. The penalty shall be as provided in § 698.02.
