(a) The village will pick up leaves of the residents of the village on three days of each year. There will be one leaf pickup scheduled in October, one scheduled in November, and one scheduled in the spring. The date of each pickup will be selected by the Administrator and published in a local newspaper of general circulation within the village. The scheduled leaf pickup dates shall also be maintained on file at the office of the Clerk.
(b) All leaves set out for pickup must be put into secure plastic bags and set out at the curb. No grass or branches will be picked up during the leaf pickup service. Any leaves set out for pickup which are not contained within plastic bags or materials set out for pickup other than leaves must be removed from the tree lawn within 48 hours after the leaf pickup service date.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Punishment shall be provided in § 698.02.
