(a) No person shall obstruct any sewer or drain, private or public, or divert or cause the natural flow of water thereon, to flow other than in its natural course or established way.
(b) No person shall store, enclose or catch, by means of containers, ponds or dams, any sewage or water from any sanitary sewer, drain, ditch or cesspool within the village, except for the purpose of treatment as provided by the laws of the state.

(c) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 698.02.
