(a) No person shall harbor a wild or exotic animal within the village.
WILD OR EXOTIC ANIMAL means an animal which generally lives in its original and natural state and is not normally domesticated.
(b) No person shall harbor any poisonous reptile within the village.
(c) The limitations of divisions (a) and (b) hereof shall not apply to the harboring of such creatures by a touring animal exhibition, circus or fair show, or for medical or educational purposes.
(d) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Punishment shall be as provided in § 698.02.
