An ordinance regulating cable television systems within the city granting an extension of a non-exclusive franchise to Cox Cable Quad Cities, Inc., formerly known as Quint Cities Cablevision, Inc., a Delaware corporation, regulating the use thereof; setting forth conditions accompanying the granting of cable television franchises; providing for operational standards; establishing conditions for the use of city streets, alleys, sidewalks, bridges and other city-owned rights-of-way and city-owned property, as well as granting any right the city may have for the use of public utility easements to franchisees; establishing criterion relevant for the charging of rates and setting forth city franchise fees; and providing for criminal violations as set forth in this chapter.
