§ 2.2 STREET AND RIGHT-OF-WAY USE NOT EXCLUSIVE.
   For the purpose of constructing, operating and maintaining a cable system in the territorial limits, the grantee may erect, install, construct, repair, replace, relocate, reconstruct, remove and retain in, on, over, under, upon, across and along the street within the territorial limits such lines, cables, conductors, ducts, conduits, false manholes, amplifiers, appliances, pedestals, attachments and other property and equipment as are necessary and appurtenant to the operation of the cable system; provided that all applicable permits are applied for and granted, all fees paid and all other local codes and ordinances are otherwise complied with, subject to state law, the right to use and occupy the streets and rights-of-way for the purpose set forth herein is not exclusive. The grantor reserves the right to grant one or more additional franchises or other authorizations for similar use and on substantially identical terms to any other person at any time. The grantee shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws, ordinances, regulations and codes.
