The cable system equipment installed by the grantee shall be constructed and maintained in good and safe condition at all times; the grantee shall erect no structures and make no excavations in any streets without first procuring a written permit in accordance with applicable ordinances and codes. All work of such kind shall be subject to inspection and approval by the grantor in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
