9-13-76: IGCC GREEN CONSTRUCTION CODE AMENDMENT, INFORMATIVE APPENDIX I, SECTION I101.1 (I1.1), ITEM D, REGISTRATION, LICENSURE, OR CERTIFICATION OF A CX PROVIDER:

   d.   Registration, Licensure, or Certification of a Cx Provider. Personnel employed as a functional and performance testing provider or as an approved commissioning provider shall demonstrate competence, qualifications, and experience to the satisfaction of the code official. This includes having certifications such as from AABC Commissioning Group (ACG), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Building Commissioning Association (BCXA), or equivalent.

      Professional architects or engineers conducting commissioning and/or testing shall be licensed with the State of Idaho, including in the applicable discipline for the type of work being commissioned and/or tested.

      Documentation outlining qualifications, experience, and copies of certifications or licenses shall be provided to the code official for acceptance.

9-13-77: IGCC GREEN CONSTRUCTION CODE AMENDMENT, INFORMATIVE APPENDIX J, SECTION J101.1, RESIDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS DETERMINED BY THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION:

   J101.1 Residential requirements determined by the authority having jurisdiction. Where an applicant has voluntarily elected to comply for the project types listed in Sections J101.1.1 through J101.1.5 of this Chapter, a minimum of the Bronze rating level for the Green Building Categories shall be met in the ICC/ASHRAE 700 National Green Building Standard.

   A minimum of the One Star rating level for the Green Subdivision Category shall be met in the ICC/ASHRAE 700 National Green Building Standard.
